About Me

I’m an energetic storyteller with experience in marketing & communications and journalism. I’m currently looking for a position that I can grow in, a community to be a part of and a new place to call home.

I’m originally from the Denver suburbs, but I’ve always loved to travel. That urge led me to join the Navy out of high school. I served five years, deploying twice to the Somali Coast for counter-piracy operations.

Of all the wonderful experiences during that time, the most rewarding was meeting my partner Liezel. We met at a friend’s party, and realized we were on the same ship.

We love to travel still. Last year we went to Costa Rica for Thanksgiving, and it was paradise. We also love to go camping with our dog Barney, and enjoy good food, game night and so much of life.
